What’s in the course? The skills you learn in SSI’s Stress & Rescue program along with the experience gained as a Master Diver give you the ability to conquer emergency situations, challenge others to be safer and control a crisis — hopefully before it even occurs. Emergency management and prevention, or knowing what to look for and how to react, is a necessary skill for divers. Challenge yourself to the most demanding yet fun course you will ever do. How is the course run?The first evening is the Stress & Rescue Diver theory. Make sure you bring a pen and paper and your Text with the study guides completed. The second weekend is spent in the water conducting rescues and working through a multitude of accident scenario’s. Equipment Required :SCUBA Unit, wetsuit and snorkelling equipment– this can be hired for the duration of the course @ the single day rate. Compass, Whistle, Torch, Knife. Timetable :Wednesday evening 6-9 Stress & rescue Theory Weekend Sat & Sun 9-5 Stress & rescue practicle applications Pre-requisites :- SSI Advanced Open Water or equivalent
