How is the course run?

This course involves some pre-study reading followed by 3 shore dives.
On the first day you will use the underwater environment to practice natural navigation and practice using fin kicks to estimate the distance you have traveled. You will then practice navigating while swimming using your compass.
On the 2nd day you will then be given bearings to navigate using your compass and using reference points to find your way to the end of the predetermined course.
