What’s in the course?

Are you the sort of diver that just swims around and thinks ‘that was an ok kind of dive’?
Have you ever done a dive in the Swan River and thought ‘what a boring ‘moonscape’ environment this is’ By completing the PADI Naturalist Diver Specialty course, you will open up an exciting new world right before your eyes. Where you once thought there was nothing to look at, we can teach you how to find and identify various marine creatures. All of Australasian Diving Academy’s instructors are experienced Naturalist divers; so instead of just ‘swimming’ around, let us show you a world you never knew existed.

How is the course run?

This course involves some pre-study reading followed by 2 shore dives.
On the first dive you will learn how to locate and identify various aquatic plants and animals.
On the final dive you will then learn how the marine life interacts with each other and discover the differences between terrestrial and aquatic environments.
